Is a mindfulness teacher. She trained to teach mindfulness with Breathworks and is accredited to teach the Breathworks 8 week Mindfulness courses: Mindfulness for Stress and Living Well with Pain and Illness.
Katherine has practiced meditation and yoga for a number of years. Four years ago, at a time of personal difficulty, she enrolled on an 8 week Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress course. The course worked for her, greatly improving her quality of life, and led to her decision to train as a mindfulness teacher with Breathworks.
Before 2012 Katherine worked for 16 years as a director of a private sector research consultancy where she was responsible for staff development and wellbeing as well as for qualitative research. Her role gave her an insight into just how many of us suffer with stress and anxiety as we struggle to fulfill the demands of work, home and family. She wants to help others gain the benefits to wellbeing and happiness that she has found through mindfulness.
Katherine follows the good practice guidance for teaching mindfulness-based courses and the code of conduct for Breathworks trainers.
